Educational Context
The location of my ‘swamp’ is a co-educational, boarding and day student, private school located within the inner suburbs of Brisbane. The pedagogical approach of the school is that of inquiry based, and collaborative learning.

Learning Space
The learning space is that of the secondary school library, specifically the ground floor. The layout of the space suggests that collaborative learning is encouraged, however in practical terms, this use is severely limited.

The learner profile
Users of this space range from students in years 8 to 12. The most frequent users of the space are boarding students during their after hours study time, and collaborative study groups.
